About Roberto Velez, MD

Dr. Roberto Velez always wanted to become a doctor. His father was an ordained Presbyterian minister who worked as the evangelical chaplain at a large tertiary care hospital where the chief of nursing was his great aunt. His father and great aunt were instrumental in exposing Dr. Velez to the medical field. They showed him how science can be applied to impact people's lives in a meaningful way. Dr. Velez chose to practice in obstetrics and gynecology because he enjoys the rich blend of medicine and surgery. He feels delivering babies is just the icing on the cake.
