Brooke chose internal medicine because it offers the opportunity to care for patients with a wide range of health conditions. After beginning her advanced practice career in emergency medicine, she was eager to transition into a setting where she could build long-term relationships and provide continuity of care. Her patient care philosophy centers on listening to each patient's concerns and working together to develop a care plan that meets their individual goals.
Brooke earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University after beginning her nursing career as a registered nurse in medical-surgical, perioperative, and emergency medicine settings. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
